PEER REVIEW PROCESS

SPORT ED implements a double-blind peer review system, where the identity of the author and the best friend is kept secret in order to maintain the objectivity of the assessment.

The stages of the review process are as follows:

  1. Initial examination (desk evaluation) by the editor to assess the suitability of the manuscript with the focus and scope of the Journal and the suitability of the template.
  2. Plagiarism checking using similarity detection software.
  3. Review process by at least two bestari partners.
  4. Editorial decisions, which include: accepted, minor revisions, major revisions, or rejected.

The final decision rests with the editor based on the recommendations of the bestari partners.
